New Student Enrollment Information

As of July, 2011, please use the Registration Info link for current information.

To enroll students who are new to the Keokuk Community Schools, families with children in the Middle School or High School should go directly to those settings to enroll. Families with elementary students to enroll, should go to the school closest to their home. . . their neighborhood school. All required information will be distributed at the school buildings. Elementary students are assigned to neighborhood schools whenever possible. Those students enrolling after registration or mid-year may not be assigned to their neighborhood school due to full classes. Children reaching the age of five before September 15 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten.

To enroll, you must bring the following:

1. Proof of birthdate (e.g. birth certificate, hospital record of birth, baptismal record)

2. Immunization records: diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, measles, mumps, and rubella. All children must be immunized for these diseases before they may attend school.
